What a brilliant meeting we enjoyed on Tuesday 4 August, expertly led by our Toastmaster for the evening, Liska, who kept the programme flowing with warmth and energy.

We were treated to a series of excellent speeches, with Emiliano taking us on a fascinating journey around Poole Harbour in a rich and engaging presentation. Bob then kept everyone on their toes with a fun, food-themed Table Topics session, before our evaluators provided thoughtful and encouraging feedback to help every speaker continue to grow.

A special moment of the evening came when Rob Dewing, District Director, thanked Amelia, Hazel and Connor for their exceptional commitment and dedication in helping bring our club to where it is today. Their hard work has made a real difference to Ferndown Speakers.
